 Boat Features:

Hull & Keel:

Keel has been reworked with the following NEW parts: lifting cable, turning ball, cable hose, hanger castings & bolts, pivot pin, and "anti-clunk" spacers, for worry-free voyages

Newer VC-17 antifouling bottom paint (2006)

     New gray rubrail insert (2008)

Fresh water boat, as its condition shows

Stainless bow pulpit, stern rail & lifelines

     Stainless steel fold-down swim ladder

     Newly varnished exterior teak

Swing keel provides easy trailer launching and shallow draft capabilities for anchoring near-shore, without compromising pointing ability under sail.  If you hit bottom, just raise the keel a bit, and you're on your way!

StarBoard (tm) trim and stainless handle on main sliding hatch

Aluminum channel in sliding hatch grooves to protect the teak

8 hp extra-long shaft Mercury outboard, 2-cycle, with the shifter controlled by the throttle twist grip.  At first, I wasn't sure I'd like combined controls, but after using it, it was nice to be able to dock without feeling like I needed three hands.

6 gal. fuel tank with gauge

      Windex wind direction indicator

Stainless steel sink in head area with manual pump

This vessel has been very well maintained, and the upgrades it has were well thought out before being added to the boat.

The keel hangers are the new wider style, which help prevent the swing keel from "clunking", and also prolong the life of the pivot pin and pivot hole.

The spreader brackets are the updated stainless brackets, which are much stronger than the old aluminum ones.

The lower shroud chainplates have been replaced with the newer version which are stronger, provide a better seal, and are less likely to compress into the deck.

There are two separate circuits in the AC power system.  One provides power to the galley and the other one feeds power to the head area.

The depth finder uses a transducer that sends the signal through the hull rather than being mounted in a hole in the bottom of the hull.

The plumbing thru hulls have been replaced with new non-metallic fittings which will not corrode, and are less likely to leak.

Save gas this summer by sailing, instead of firing up that big, fuel-hungry powerboat every time you want to get out on the water!
